IMPLEMENTATION GUIDE
Keep customer and company identity separate
A company may have multiple workspaces or contracts. Store an internal customer ID and join it to the enriched company record using a domain mapping you maintain. Avoid merging customer billing or usage records solely because they share a domain.
Combine enrichment with first-party signals
Use firmographics to group accounts, then analyze your own usage, plan, revenue, or support data within those groups. Employee count does not reveal product adoption or renewal risk. Define those measures from your own records and keep an unknown segment for customers with missing company attributes.
Make cohort definitions stable
Document size bands and industry mappings so teams use the same definitions. If you need historical analysis, retain snapshots of segment membership in your warehouse rather than rewriting past reports with the latest enrichment. Your analytics or CRM workflow controls reporting and customer success actions.
Connect the workflow
Use the API overview for request and task handling, or the Loop guide for webhook delivery.

Does enrichment predict churn or expansion?
Company enrichment adds business context. Churn and expansion models need your own usage, revenue, and account relationship data; company size alone does not establish either outcome.
Can I analyze historical customer segments?
Store profile or segment snapshots in your own warehouse if you need historical comparisons. A current enrichment result describes the returned profile, not a historical company dataset.
