IMPLEMENTATION GUIDE
Enrich at the right level
Company industry and employee count describe an account. Current roles and professional location describe a person. Use a work email or LinkedIn profile URL for people enrichment, then enrich the matched employer domain separately when company context is needed. Reuse account context across contacts from the same company.
Keep segment rules understandable
Begin with a few segments tied to distinct content, such as operations leaders at software companies. Use a documented title mapping rather than assuming every job title has the same seniority. Keep contacts with incomplete profiles in a general segment so they continue to receive useful content.
Sync attributes before enrolling campaigns
Wait for completed enrichment results before updating audience membership. Store the source fields so marketers can inspect why a contact belongs to a segment. EnrichLoops supplies profile data; your marketing platform handles subscriptions, campaign enrollment, and message delivery.
Connect the workflow
Use the API overview for request and task handling, or the Loop guide for webhook delivery.
People enrichmentAdd professional context to contacts you already have.Common questions
Does enrichment create a new contact list?
This workflow enriches contacts you already have. It does not discover a new audience or automatically enroll contacts in a campaign.
Can I use industry and role in the same segment?
Yes. Enrich the company for industry and the existing contact for professional role, then combine the fields in your marketing platform’s segment rules.
