Companies change.
Your CRM should too.
B2B data enrichment gives your reps useful context at every stage, from a new lead to the next follow-up. Here’s what changes in Close and what your team gets from it.
A new lead arrives.
You have a name and a website.
A company profile
Industry, company size, and headquarters.

See whether the account fits before picking up the phone.
A contact joins the record.
You have an email or LinkedIn profile.
The person behind the email
Current role, employer, and background.
Make it relevant.
Start a conversation that fits their role and company.
The company changes.
EnrichLoops finds new company information.
Updated company details
Fresh values in the fields you choose to keep current.
Follow up with context.
Work from current information, without repeating the research.
Connect once.
Keep Close current.
A guided setup for the records you want to enrich. You decide what gets updated before automation starts.
- 01
Connect your Close account.
Open Integrations in EnrichLoops, choose Close, and authorize your account. Choose leads, contacts, or both.
- 02
Choose what goes where.
Map enrichment data to your Close fields. Use suggested matches, pick existing fields, or create a custom field right from setup.
- 03
Test, review, then enable.
Try one record, check the result in Activity, and review your rules. Enable enrichment for new records and ongoing updates to keep them current.
Company and contact
data, right in Close.
Company details belong on the lead. A person’s role belongs on the contact. Map the fields once. EnrichLoops fills them on new records and refreshes them as the underlying data changes.

Company enrichment for Close leads.
Industry, employee count, company description, founding year, LinkedIn profile, and headquarters. Start with a company website and get the details your team needs to assess fit.
Contact enrichment for Close CRM.
Name, current title, employer, headline, and location from the email or LinkedIn URL already on the contact. Map the details your reps use.
Keep the data fresh.
Keep the human touch.
Fresh data should help your team, not undo their work. Choose which fields we can fill or refresh, preserve manual edits, and keep linked records current when EnrichLoops finds new data.
AN EMPTY FIELD
Company size
A FIELD YOUR REP EDITED
Contact title
Fill the gaps.
Only fill empty fields to keep the data your team has already entered. Empty enrichment values never clear a Close field.
Respect a rep’s edits.
Choose “Overwrite unless edited in the CRM” to refresh values we previously wrote while preserving subsequent manual changes.
Set a daily credit limit.
Give the connection a daily budget shared across leads and contacts. Work above the cap waits until the next UTC day.
See what changed, and why.
Activity shows field changes, previous and new values, skipped updates, and failures. Follow each record’s enrichment without guessing what happened.
CLOSE + ENRICHLOOPS
Close CRM data enrichment FAQs.
What gets enriched, how updates work, and what uses credits.
Yes. Enrichment continues after a record is created. When EnrichLoops finds updated company or contact information, it automatically updates the linked record in Close. Enable ongoing updates and choose which fields can refresh. Your field rules still apply, so you can preserve your team’s manual edits.
Yes. Close connects directly from the EnrichLoops dashboard. Authorize your account, map your fields, and choose your update rules. EnrichLoops handles the connection and writeback.
Enrich Close leads with company industry, employee count, description, founding year, and headquarters using a website URL. Enrich contacts with their name, current title, employer, and location using an existing email or LinkedIn URL. Choose the fields that matter to your sales process.
You choose the behavior for each field: only fill empty fields, always overwrite, or overwrite unless someone edited the value in Close. Individual mappings can override the default rule. Missing enrichment data never blanks a field.
A company enrichment or a person lookup by LinkedIn URL costs 1 credit. A person lookup by email costs 3 credits. Failed and no-match enrichments are refunded. Pushing updated data to an already linked record is free. Manual test enrichments also use credits and respect your daily cap.
Yes. Save your field mappings and test one lead or contact. Tests perform a real enrichment and write to Close, so choose a record you’re comfortable updating. Check Activity for the result, then enable automation when you’re ready. You can also finish setup with automatic updates off.
No. Automatic enrichment follows the triggers you enable for new records and identifier changes. You can test an existing record individually; a bulk backfill of existing records is not currently available.
